One of the most effective means of tackling poverty is to empower the poor through Micro-Finance. With this aim in mind, under the ages of SWADESHI JAGARAN FOUNDATION – C H A U P A L – CENTRE FOR HOLISTIC ADVANCEMENT AND UPLIFTMENT OF POOR AND LANDLESS was incorporated in 2010.
CHAUPAL gives Micro-Finance to the very poor & needy women to enable them to start their own small business or expand existing ones, enabling them to become economically self sufficient. CHAUPAL strongly believes that with Micro Finance, poor women are empowered, leading to the improvement in living standards of the family with better education, health care and food.
The urgent need for addressing the issues of youth unemployment in mind, CHAUPAL has started another venture called CHAUPAL KESARIYA where unemployed youths are given e-rickshaws.
